About this quiz
The quiz follows the United Nations grouping, which counts ten countries as Eastern Europe: Belarus, Bulgaria, Czechia, Hungary, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovakia and Ukraine. The Baltic states, which the UN counts as Northern Europe, are in the former Soviet republics map quiz.
Most people find the larger countries quickly. The hard part is the middle of the region, where several smaller countries are easy to mix up on a map.
