About this quiz
The quiz covers twenty of Asia's countries, from giants like India and Indonesia to small mountain kingdoms like Bhutan. Each explanation gives the capital and one story about the country, from a desert crater that has burned for decades to a spaceport in the steppe.
Most people find the big countries and the islands easy. The hard part is Central Asia, where the five "stans" sit side by side, and mainland Southeast Asia, where Laos, Cambodia and Myanmar can look alike on a map.
