About this quiz
The quiz follows Partition from the Muslim League's demand for Pakistan to the border Cyril Radcliffe drew in five weeks, the flight of millions of refugees and the assassination of Gandhi. It ends in Kashmir, where the dispute Partition left open still divides two nuclear powers.
It is rated hard. The early questions reward general knowledge of 1947, but the later ones on Kashmir assume some reading about the years that followed.
