About this quiz
Borders on a map look settled, but dozens of territories are claimed by more than one country, or run by governments most of the world does not recognize. Some have their own passports, currencies and elections but no seat at the United Nations.
This quiz covers well-known disputes on four continents and sticks to checkable facts, current as of October 2026. Where the two sides use different names for a place, it gives both. It does not take sides.
